YOUTH NEXUS MEETING 12/7/06

• The Grant Application- we revised the application and considered revisions
• New Grants- There are grants that we (Youth Nexus) can apply for. One is for up to $15,000. If we get some money, we can fund mini-projects or maybe do projects of our own.
• Mural- the mural is coming up and we need a theme. Can everyone come with an idea for the theme? The theme will be decided at the fiesta on Dec. 21. We are also looking for an artist to paint the mural.
• Radio Interview- We can get an interview on the radio in Oroville with Lee Edwards. It will be somtime in January. The date will be announced at the fiesta.
• Open Mic Night- Open Mic Night January 26, 2006 at Mugshots in Oroville. We will be planning more of that soon.
• Fiesta- It's time for the end of the semester fiesta! It's December 21, 6:00-8:30 pm, at Desiree's house. It's a potluck and there's a gift exchange. Come with a gift that is suitable for both genders and a dish.
• Fundraiser- We are going to do a photo booth at the next Live Spot dance which is in February. We might also sell food at a Chico high basketball game in the concession stand.
