HEY NEXUS!!
So... the new year has OFFICIALLY began.
We had our ice cream social last week (thank you Sid, Nichole, and Liz)
It went nicely :]

SO.. NOW.. we're looking for fresh faces!
The member application is out, and we want members!!
If you know anyone that may be interested, here are some logistics:

• The member application is due August 29th
• And they must attend the member training in early September
• They must be between 14-20
• They must live in Butte County

..other than these 4 things, there are NO strings attached! Just turn in an application and we will look at it!

Youth Nexus applicants must: be between 14 and 20 years old, participate in fundraising and service projects, attend all mandatory meeting dates during the summer of 2008 and throughout the school year (specific dates to be announced) and love to make a difference!

Members have the amazing opportunity to: · Develop leadership skills · Plan and host community service projects · Learn about the grant making process · Fund social change projects · Sit on a subcommittee of interest · Attend youth development trainings
